Friends of the Chelsea Library is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to supporting Chelsea Public Library through fundraising, advocacy, and volunteer service. We work closely with library staff to enhance library services, programs, and resources for our community.
We support the library by:
Raising funds through book sales and membership dues
Purchasing materials and equipment not covered by the library’s budget
Funding special programs and events for children, teens, and adults
Advocating for library services in our community
Providing volunteer assistance for library initiatives
Increasing public awareness about library resources and needs
